The picture on the left is the radar tower and experimental site of Liv(ingston) Lansing. Liv was the founder of the Eastern Snow Conference, its president in 1957 and a member of the first (50th Anniversary) class of Honorary ESC Members. The site is on Jackson Hill Road overlooking the Black River Valley and is at the edge of the 200 inch mean snow accumulation area on the Tug Hill Plateau in New York State The photograph is courtesy of Austin Hogan (pictured) a longtime ESC member |
